I recently stayed at Tenuta Danesi & Bubble Rooms near Matera and had a fantastic experience. The peacefulness of the location was a welcome change after visiting busy cities like Venice, Florence, and Rome. The property, which is part of a working farm, is beautifully designed and finished to a high standard. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and some even open onto a terrace with great views. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier, and the coffee or tea offered upon arrival was a nice touch. The breakfast, while not extensive, was of good quality. On our last evening, we enjoyed an outstanding meal prepared by the sous chef. a unique and upmarket place ideally located for visiting Matera.
